Jan Keltjens joined CryoCath as President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2007, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership in medical devices and high tech innovation.

Prior to joining to CryoCath, Jan was Worldwide General Manager of Cordis Neurovascular Inc., part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies focused on stroke. Based in Miami, FL, he provided leadership to a global management team incorporating all business functions and had full P&L responsibility.

Jan joined Cordis in 1995 as Vice-President and Managing Director in charge of international manufacturing and distribution operations as well as R&D. He was subsequently promoted to leadership roles as VP European marketing (based in Brussels) and VP of World-wide Strategic Marketing for Cordis Cardiology (based in Miami).

Prior to joining Cordis, Jan served in leadership roles in R&D with Unilever and as Managing Director of a group of small high tech companies.

Jan’s key strength is his broad, hands-on experience in virtually all key functions of the Medical Device space, his International experience in Europe, USA and Asia, and his focus on strategic agility paired with P&L management.

Jan was born and raised in The Netherlands, and holds a Master Degree in Physics with a specialty in low-temperature physics from the University of Eindhoven in The Netherlands. He is married to his wife Wil and has two daughters.
