Hamburg Arctic Front Training Program

Arctic Front® is a novel cryoballoon catheter enabling ablation therapy for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation. Medtronic CryoCath is committed to ensuring your success with this device by inviting you to participate in the Arctic Front Training Program.

The goal of the Hamburg Arctic Front Training Program is to enable electrophysiologists with experience in the ablation of atrial fibrillation to safely and effectively utilize the Arctic Front Cardiac CryoAblation catheter with confidence and competence.

This comprehensive program will present a step-by-step approach of a Cryoballoon procedure, from preparation and transseptal puncture, to angiography and mapping, product specifications and application and finally the successful PV isolation.

Learning Objectives and Curriculum:

The Program's learning objectives over the 1-day session include:

  • Understanding key procedural techniques that are important for a safe, simple and successful application of the Arctic Front cryoballoon technology.
  • By combining presentations with case observations the physician will acquire the knowledge to manage Arctic Front procedures and implement Cryotechnology into their clinical environment.

The Program curriculum will focus on:

  • Catheter Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation using “Hamburg Approach”
  • Product Introduction and Theory of Operation
  • Arctic Front Ablations live Case Observation
  • Review of clinical results
