Arctic Front Masters Program

Arctic Front® is a novel cryoballoon catheter enabling ablation therapy for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation.  CryoCath is committed to ensuring your success with this device by inviting you to participate in the Arctic Front Masters Program.

The goal of CryoCath’s Arctic Front Masters Program is to enable electrophysiologists to safely and effectively utilize the Arctic Front Cardiac CryoAblation catheter with confidence and competence.

This comprehensive program will provide the physician with a unique opportunity to interact with an international faculty of Arctic Front experienced physicians.  The faculty will share their extensive experience to help prepare you for optimally managing your clinical cases.

The next Arctic Front Masters Program sessions will be held at the Herz- und Gefäß-Klinik GmbH Bad Neustadt an der Saale (Germany) and be conducted by Professor Dr. Burghard Schumacher, Dr. Markus Koller, and their colleagues. The next training session will be held on October 29, 2008.

Learning Objectives and Curriculum:

The Program's learning objectives over the 1-day session include:

  • Understanding how Arctic Front is used in the clinical setting by discussion, demonstration and hands-on experience.
  • Understanding the key procedural techniques that are critical to the safe, simple, and effective use of the catheter and its supporting devices.

The Program curriculum will focus on:

  • The ablation procedure with Arctic Front and FlexCath® Steerable Sheath
  • Roles and responsibilities for all EP lab members
  • Suggestions and tips for a safe and simple procedure
  • How to interpret the indicators for successful ablations
  • Multiple case study presentations to prepare you for challenges
  • Arctic Front Ablations and Case Observation
